On my way to Ramon Lee's for lunch last Sunday, I chanced upon this fellow rocking away in the middle of Rizal Ave., Manila. He was singing old 80's hits, I think. Dozens of people gathered around him and listened to golden oldies. It's too bad I wasn't able to stick around longer to get more details like his name. Maybe he'll have another gig there this Sunday.

What are u using to shoot? The two portraits are fine technically with good lighting, exposure, etc. The content really wasnt that interesting, but like you said its for you anyway. However, the other two i looked outSigns and studying time caught my interest. They both caught my interest. You kind of played them down in your description, which took away from them a little bit. There good pictures, don't be afraid to give us a little history or story. The perfect picture will tell a story by iself but were not perfect. Tel me that girls name or why is she studying in an empty hallway. Give me some history on that sign and why its up. I liked the colors and texture in your pictures, are they developed then scanned in? Post prcessing? the colors and texture have a real hard, set in tone that I like. Good eye.

@Kody Whiteaker: I use a Nikon AF SLR. For the content in this photo, yes, for you it may not be that interesting but for me it is. That fellow was singing his heart out in the street and I felt that I needed to tell his story (though I lack a lot of info) through here. I guess this is the part where photography is subjective. It was in my experience that i found him interesting. So I understand why you don't find this photo interesting.
As for the accompanying descriptions of my photos, I'm sorry if I haven't put that much info on them because I believe that too much detail/text on a certain photo hampers the ability of the photo to speak for itself, to speak to the viewer. I believe that some photos don't need too much detail for it to be effective. But you're right, though. Some of my photos do need added info. I'll try to put more next time but I won't put that much. As for the sign in the jeep, I dunno when that started. It just started popping all over the jeeps here in the Philippines.
As for my photos, I have them scanned after developing. Post processing? Minor color tweaks and that's it.
Thanks for dropping by! And thanks for your input. I really appreciate it.
