The girl waving is Angela. Back in my freshman year in college, she was part of our block (In our school, students are grouped together as a class by their respective courses. I don't know if that holds true for universities around the world. But nevertheless, I'm just putting things in context.). Just months into our freshman year, she left for the States to continue her studies there instead as per her dad's wishes. It was real sad to see her leave because our block was just getting close with one another. This photo was taken several weeks ago as she quietly visited friends here. It was nice to see her again. I remember a guote from a conversation with her years ago before she left. It was something along the lines of "If God puts you to it, He'll guide you through it."

Is this a scanned picture? Do you shoot film?

@Shuva Brata Deb: I have the negatives scanned. Yep I shoot with film. If Im'm not mistaken, I think I used a Colpan 100 for this one. It's a relatively unknown brand of emulsion sold here. It's very affordable.
nice picture, a lot of character here as you catch the moment well. i also like your description, really puts the photo into context, nice work!
