I'm no philosophy major, nor am I the best student in my philo classes, but I have this theory that, upon birth, all of us are placed right smack in the middle between good and bad. Upon growing up and experiencing the world around us, we shift from good to bad, bad to good, and so on. It is our fundamental life option that as we mature, we lean away, far far away from that bad side of the "meter."

Subjects at the centre of the photograph doesn't always work better but I guess it succeeded in this one. Maybe the symmetry between the gates are needed to make the point across.
Nice and rustic. The use of low saturation also helped.
